Final Coventry Bike Night of 2016

Everyone stayed late, not wanting the warm night to slip away. We had a good season. The event is small, but intimate. All types of riders and machines, eating ice cream, drinking beers and talking to one another. Thanks to everyone who came out this year and B. J. Reid for having us clutter up his parking lot every Wednesday.

Pennsy Skaters

A couple Saturdays ago, Kellie and I were bombing around in the Roadmaster. Hitting tag sales as we zig zagged up to Ma's to pick up Max.

Stopped at the Tolland Dunkin Donuts for a coffee and ran into a group of dudes on bikes. One was an 80's FXR, so you know I had to ask them what they were up to.

Turns out they had been riding all holiday weekend, riding from Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania, hitting skate parks in Connecticut.

Doesn't get much cooler than that.

The Blog Ghost

Haven't been here in years. Let's see if it still works. Thousands of older photos were lost when our website host closed up.

New Pope Shirt

Picked this up at motorcyclepedia. Now I don't have to make one.

Cyclopedia 1916, lost knowledge seen at auction.

I tried, but the New York City Paper Jew outbid me on this 5 volume set of technical cyclopedias. The dude always kills me on the old stuff. I was able to spycam some pics before the bidding started.

Murder Miglia 2013 begins today

The rules are simple. Ride your motorcycle 100 miles every day for 10 days in a row. Take a photo with a time stamp of some sort with date, time and odometer reading at beginning of day and one at the end of the day. Only 100 miles counts per day, so riding 300 miles a day does nothing to help your results. Miss a day or miles for any reason, you are disqualified. You can re-start again if there are enough days left in the month. You choose which ten days you want to run. The earliest days usually offer the best weather. Send your daily results to murdercycles@hotmail.com or post them on Ray Luce's facebook page. he will be keeping track. Successful finishers will get some sort of cool, but cheap prize and a party at Murdercycles Clubhouse. If you think it is easy, you will be surprised how difficult it is. Many try, few finish.

Stephen "Camera Steve" Allcroft, R.I.P.

A good friend, kind man, skilled photographer and U.S. Marne. Cancer did him in yesterday. Ride on.
