I was over at Chet's drinking some free beers last night. He kept urging me out into the garage to see his newest Yankee find. Told me it was a stove. I told him he was getting real domesticated when home appliances cause excitement.
Finally out of guilt we went out to the shed.
He picked up a 1912 Weir Glenwood model K caol/wood stove. It was actually pretty cool and in great shape for being 98 years old. I makes you appreciate what it took to cook back in the olden days.
If you can't stand the heat, stay out of the kitchen.
