Support your local dealer

I found a 1949 newsletter for the New England Motorcycle Dealers. Had some good news articles from the area and a bunch of cool ads. Burton Ives and Sheldon's are still in business today. Ives sells Honda and my shovelhead was bought new at Sheldon's.
One article said there was a crowd of 3,000 to watch bike racing at Stafford Speedway. That must have been a crazy day. It was still a dirt half mile back then.

Warm As Hell October Weekend

This weekend was pretty nice up here in Mudville. Was sick as a dog Friday and Saturday, but felt better Sunday. Still did my 100 daily miles for the Murder Miglia. Friday's were the hardest.

RIP Steve Jobs

I have never owned an apple product nor do I understand the apple cult appeal. The dude stuck true to his vision and still had his BMW motorcycle. That I can understand.

dark days

My world is totally upside-down right now. Instant single dad, gotta move to my kid's town and find a 9-5 job. My poor son is holding it together pretty well. We have been busy with activities to keep our minds off of it.

Our Murder Miglia contest is on and I started my 1000 today. I rode with anger and hostility. I feel a little better now. Speed is good.

Met some Canadian Adventurers at the gas station, they were looking for the localKTM dealer. I almost forgot Manchester Honda sells them.
