I found a 1949 newsletter for the New England Motorcycle Dealers. Had some good news articles from the area and a bunch of cool ads. Burton Ives and Sheldon's are still in business today. Ives sells Honda and my shovelhead was bought new at Sheldon's.
One article said there was a crowd of 3,000 to watch bike racing at Stafford Speedway. That must have been a crazy day. It was still a dirt half mile back then.
