Guzzi of a Past Day

Was cleaning out my toolbox and came across my first digicam, an AGFA piece of shit from around 1999-2000. Thing would kill all the batteries in 10 pictures, so it had a short service life.
Found this unknown LeMans with a fairing. I don't remember where I took the pic. Also found some pics of my brother and his date from 9 years ago.

Blue Bike Sunday

Went to the Stafford Swapmeet. There were a lot of blue bikes there to remind me that my blue was broken.

Kick in the Nuts II

Today work sucked. Dude called in sick (hangover). Pissed off the boss, who was on site.
Boss yelled at forman, foreman yelled at everyone.
After work I just wanted to go home and Howard Hughes myself. 10 miles outta the mill, I met Mr. Nail.
FUCK!
Another pickup truck ride back to the club.
Will order a tube on payday.

Pratt & Whitney Radial in Kodachrome Glory

October 1942. "Women are trained as engine mechanics in thorough Douglas training methods. Douglas Aircraft Company, Long Beach, California." Skipping ahead to 2009, and the end of an era: Today Kodak announced that, after 74 colorful years, it will stop making Kodachrome film. 4x5 Kodachrome transparency by Alfred Palmer, Office of War Information

They built these engines one town over in East Hartford, CT. P&W and it's subcontractors still employ many of my friends. Maximilian's grandfather worked his whole life there.
