Flood-Wilson Trans-African Motorcycle Expedition

In the spirit of Tormud and Klaus I came across these pictures from a 1935 National Geographic magazine.
These two nuts rode across Africa on sidecar bikes. The article was interesting describing the impossible hardships, rebuilds, camel rides and insects. There is also the struggle between the European colonists, muslims and Africans.
They made it and said they were heading to India on a steamship for their next adventure.
