Friend of ours holds a yearly party in his backyard. Small version of the Iron Horse here in CT. Live band, huge food spread and free booze. How he pays for it, I have no clue. Rode up Friday for the pre party and back again Saturday after we got done moving.
Busted out the shark and rode with a Sportster riding chick. Chick dumped it as we were parking, a grand entrance indeed. Ate BBQ pork, listened to music that wasn't Skynyrd and had a good, chill time.
Thanks RJS!

Middletown Mania
Middletown, CT put on a bike event last night. Despite the best efforts of the weathermen predicting Armageddon, it never rained. 33% as big a bike turnout as last year, but almost as many spectators.
Here are a couple pics I took before I beat the tornadoes and hurricanes on the way home.

Murdercycles Luftwaffe
Chet has been seeing a plane fly over his work with German markings on it. In hopes that he would find out more about this flying mirage, he stopped at the local airfield and asked around.
The airport guys said there was one there. Chet asked if he could take a few pics, since we are WW2 airplane freaks.
They got in touch with the owner and set up a meet.
Turns out it is a mid-50's Luftwaffe Focke Wulf training plane.
The pilot invited Chet for a flight and even let him have some stick time. What a cool dude.
